Lots of news today! Let's get down to it...

Members can no longer create tags
To ensure things don't get messy with all these new tags, we've made it so only mods can create new tags. From now on, if the author of the story you're reccing doesn't already have their own author tag, a mod will create it for you.

Please add "missing tag: author: [author name]" to the bottom of your recs so mods can clearly see the tag that needs to be added.

We have decided on a list of what we're calling plus tags
These are basically a variety of tags for key themes and features that occur in stories, and are designed to make it easier to find what you're looking for. If you take a look at the top of the tags page, you can see the list we decided on. starlite_gone pointed out that you can't see the new tags until they have been used. If you want to see the list, it's on page 2 of chat. Thanks Ais! If you think there are any tags that should be added to the list, feel free to make suggestions. Keep in mind that a tag needs to be usable on at least three stories for it to stay in use, so we may not necessarily keep all those currently on the list.

Next week, our taggers will be going through the archives and adding these tags to stories, mostly based on the summaries in the case of stories they have not read. The week after that, we will be requesting that the rest of the community go through stories they have rec'd and other archived stories they have read and add any missing tags. If there is anyone here who has read the majority of the archived stories and would be willing to do a final sweep of the archives after everyone else has finished to make sure all the appropriate plus tags have been added, please let me know.

Please fix any broken links in your recs that you are informed of
We currently have people going through the archives and locating working links for any stories that have broken links in the original recs. If someone leaves a comment on one of your old posts with a corrected link, please edit it into the post. Thanks guys :)

Parker drew cute boys being bitey and furries and it was great.

This week's Livestream is with manicdak
It will be on Wednesday at 6pm PST. She will be colouring her picture for the Christmas anthology and maybe doing a few doodles as well. You can see some of her art here, or read her comic which is hosted on the same site.

Anyone want to Livestream the week after next?
We'd especially like someone from Europe or Australia or an American who can Livestream in the morning so that people in other timezones can get a chance to watch.
