Request: Any good slash for the kindle

Hope I don't annoy anyone with this request but my brain is spinning at the moment.

I'm about to get a bunch of slash books for the kindle on my laptop from amazon but I have no idea out of the thousands of books on amazon what's good and what's not. So could anyone help me out and recommend me something for my kindle that at the moment is very lonely with only Puppy Love on it. 


Even if its not for the kindle and is a dead tree book is okay with me.

Not long after Snow shows up and Vincent doesn't seem to mind the extra company...

Review: This a rather interesting story about the power ballance between the 3 guys. Snow is a naughty sub boy, Vincent seems to be the total Dom and Ethan... he's a true switch I guess :) which can prove pretty bothersome. Vincent wants to help him balance himself better and gain two delicious subs in the process. Kirby Crow also created a community where possible updates on the story should be posted - http://community.livejournal.com/turks_cay/ . I'm hoping for at least a couple more shorts (as a nice epilogue substitute if nothing else).

Request: fandom AUs

I've always been wary of fandom slash for some reason or other and stuck mostly with original slash.  But recently, I found myself venturing into fanfic and discovered quite a few amazing stories that if i were to disregard just because of my "fanfic" hang ups, then i would have missed out on wonderful hours of m/m goodness. 
A few fandom that i'm really into right now are merlin, generation kill (brad/nate), spn (jared/jensen...but not sam/dean...i dont understand this myself since im quite into incest stories...maybe it's because i havent found the right fic yet), and heroes (nathan/peter) and weirdly, mcr bandom. Of all these, i've only watched merlin  and gk.

I'm assuming that most of you also read fanfic aside from original slash and i would very much appreciate if you can recommend your favorite fandom (movie, tv, band, anime...etc)  and what you think are the absolute best-of-the-class must reads for that particular show.
I figured this would be a good way for me to get to know new fandoms.  It would be totally awsome if the fic can stand alone or an AU and  since i will probably be unfamiliar with the show or the characters (im prehistoric on popular entertainment these days).  The longer the fic, the better.

I'm pretty new to this community and was really happy to find it. Thanks to all of the amazing people who rec and reviews fic. It's really useful !

I've been reading slash for a long time on well-known sites publishing original stories, and I must confess I have a thing for stories involving strong characters (as in characters with a backbone). I was wondering if you could please rec me some fics to read. I especially like it when the characters are strongly opposed, and I enjoy the thrill of the chase between two protagonists when you wonder who will be giving in in the end. I also like it when one or all characters are involved in the mafia. I can't help it. I find it exiting when there are guns and crazy pursuits! I don't really mind if the story is a comedy or a dark fic.

I've already read The Mafia Runner by Beautifully Shattered, which is really good, even if not yet completed,

If you could rec me some other fics, that would be awesome.

Hello, I'm brand new to LJ and this group but I've been lurking on it for a while.

During my time lurking in this group as well as fictionpress, that vast majority of active stories I find feature very weak characters, either emotionally, physically or from a literary point of view (or any combination). It's like pulling teeth for me to finish them. I understand that these kind of characters/stories are what most ladies enjoy nowadays but as a guy I prefer my men to be.... well, men!

I am looking for well written original stories (or very stand-alone fanfictions) with characters that are strong and believable. I don't mean Mr. Herculanean Macho Man but men who don't have the figure of a 12 year old and cling to their love interest like a damsel in distress (no offense intended towards those who enjoy that).

I've read all of Zebbie/frenchmartini's works and I love each and every one of them, and I've found a few gems here that I've saved (including some suggested in the post asking for Mafia themes) but that can't possibly be all!
