Review:  This is a lovely story, and very well-written.  I know nothing about the Tudors (show or history), but the piece worked beautifully for me as a stand-alone. I got a strong sense of the characters' history, and I enjoyed it on the basis of their interpersonal dynamics.  The characters have an appealing maturity and confidence, and the D/s aspect comes out of their long history and mutual strong feelings.  Convincing, moving, and hot.  Try it.
