Opinion: The story is told alternatively from 2 POV's - the general's and the cadet's. Everything is chalked up to miscommunications and misunderstandings. Hilarious + smexy. It's all in good fun, even if it's ridiculous at times. xD

Also, this is a FFVII fanfic, but it's so AU that you all can just ignore this bit.
